Dr. Wanzu completed her undergraduate studies in International Affairs at Florida State University. She then completed a degree in Forensic Biology from Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Wanzu went on the receive her doctorate from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine where she received the Academic Merit Scholarship and participated in many volunteer activities including providing Foot Screenings for the Special Olympics. Dr. Wanzu completed her residency training with the Department of Veterans Affairs where she served as Chief Resident and received extensive training in reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle, lower extremity trauma, and diabetic limb salvage.


Dr. Wanzu has completed a preceptorship in venous disease and varicose vein care, completed training in peripheral vascular sonography, and is a VenaSeal Closure System certified physician.


Dr. Wanzu is an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, Georgia Podiatric Medical Association, and the American Society of Foot and Ankle Dermatology.
